There is no football "off-season" in the garden state!

 With a focus on the health and safety of the participants and the community at large, our flag football program will be equipped with the following precautions:

-Temperature checks prior to all games-Coaches, players, and staff wearing masks when social distancing not possible-Games will be played both indoors and outdoors-Safety features of our indoor facility:

• 3.6 million cubic feet of air inside the dome
• 40% constant outside fresh air flow 
• All return air is filtered 
• 24/7 Constant fresh air flow
• 91,000 sq. ft. of indoor turf space
• 80 foot high ceilings

-COVID officials modifications

• Early whistles and game stoppages when players are clustered trying to remove flags
• Games will be played 5 v 5 and 6 v 6 to limit grouping of players on the field and promote space
• Referees will limit traditional huddles and will demonstrate prior to game way for teams to socially distant huddle when on offense
• No kickoff
• Frequent sanitation breaks
• Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment in between games
• 
  

-No spectators will be permitted inside for indoor programming until further notice.  We recognize the importance of getting the kids back on the field!  However, we are committed to the health and safety of all and will be limiting indoor turf activities to participants and coaches only.  Spectators may attend outdoor games and follow the CDC guidelines for social distancing.-Programs will be offered in shortened 5 week blocks to allow GSE to monitor the situation in New Jersey and make changes as needed.  This also reduces your commitment to a full 10 week program this fall with so much uncertainty.
